Google Launches Veo 3 Video Generation Model for AI Pro Subscribers

Google has officially launched its Veo 3 video generation model globally for Gemini users across more than 159 countries.

This feature is exclusively available to paying subscribers of the Google AI Pro subscription, which allows for up to three video generations per day. The AI Pro membership offers extensive access to various Google AI capabilities, including 2 TB of storage and 1,000 monthly AI credits that can be utilized with Whisk and Flow, alongside additional perks to enhance user experience.

Eligibility and Access

To subscribe to Google AI Pro, users must register with a personal Google account and be at least 18 years old. The subscription is not open to current Google One members who have subscribed through third-party partners or Pixel Pass. Students in the US, UK, Indonesia, Brazil, and Japan can receive a free upgrade to AI Pro.

Features and Benefits of Google AI Pro

Gemini app with 2.5 Pro and Veo: Enhanced capabilities for complex tasks such as coding, logical reasoning, nuanced instructions, and creative collaboration.

Flow: A generative video-making tool that supports text-to-video, ingredients-to-video, and frames-to-video modes. It allows up to 5 simultaneous generations, operates only in American English, and includes safeguards to prevent harmful output.

Whisk Animate: Enables users to remix ideas and create images, which can then be transformed into short videos with Veo 2. Subscribers can generate a maximum of 100 videos per month.

NotebookLM: An AI-powered research and writing assistant with higher limits for audio discussions, Q&As, resources, and notebooks. It offers customizable styles, sharing options, and analytics, available on mobile for iOS and Android.

In-depth Research in Gemini Apps: Provides thorough, real-time research capabilities on various topics, accessible on both desktop and mobile.

Use in Google Workspace: Gemini is integrated into Gmail, Docs, Slides, and more, assisting in writing, designing, organizing, streamlining workflows, and enhancing meetings.
