New integrations allow easier music sharing on TikTok
It has just become easier to share music and audio content on TikTok. New integrations with both Apple Music and Spotify mean that users can easily tap to share songs, playlists, audiobooks and other content, choosing whether to share as a video, a photo, or a post. Shares can also be done via DMs. Similar to the ‘recaps’ above, this acts to simplify existing behaviours, where people were sharing links. This is likely to be a big boost for some artists on the music platforms, making it much easier for their music to go viral in original forms, rather than just as backing to other videos and posts.

Open AI launches its own Search Engine
OpenAI has introduced a search engine within the ChatGPT platform, available to paying users. By clicking on a ‘world’ icon, users can toggle between traditional ChatGPT responses and AI-powered search results. This new feature integrates third-party providers, including Bing, and delivers detailed, reliable answers with source links. For instance, a query about cheap flights not only provides tips but also highlights current deals. While this won’t replace traditional search engines, it introduces fresh competition with a modern and user-friendly approach!

Coca-Cola’s AI holiday ad stirs debate
Coca-Cola’s AI-driven remake of its classic “Holidays Are Coming” ad has sparked backlash from artists and creatives. While the spot features festive AI-generated visuals of animals and snowy scenes, critics highlighted concerns over AI replacing human creativity and pointed out technical flaws like distorted backgrounds and non-spinning truck wheels.
Coca-Cola defended the campaign, calling it a blend of “human storytelling and generative AI,” after reviews it turns aout that the consumers do not mind the AI part of campaign at all.
